Erewash Phoenix is proud to support our local community by raising funds for charities and organisations in our area of Erewash and Sandiacre.
Our Chair, Pauline Edwards and Treasurer Julie Appleyard recently visited Treetops Hospice in Risley to hand over the bucket collection we took during our 21st Anniversary Concert in July.

Erewash Phoenix Choir celebrated its 20th Birthday.
What an amazing achievement.
Susan, has been with the choir for those 20 years - and is still a valued member of the choir.

Remembering
Erewash Phoenix Choir lost one of its most loyal members in September 2023. Margaret Smith will be missed by all of us, and by everyone who saw her at our concerts, where she was a mainstay of the contralto section of the choir. Margaret inspired us all with her energy and her zest for life, even as she became increasingly infirm. She was a wonderful musician, a loyal friend and a strong supporter of the choir and of the benefits of singing on mental and physical wellbeing. She will be sadly missed for her enthusiasm, her wicked sense of humour and her wonderful musicality. We will remember her fondly and often. We were honoured to sing at the service in celebration of her life, and send our sincere condlences to her family and friends.
